Canton, Ohio, May 1, 2013 – Beese Fulmer is proud to announce the implementation of its new community impact policy. While Beese Fulmer has always promoted giving back to the local community through volunteerism, there has not been a formal policy until now. The new policy allows employees to use three work days per year to volunteer at a Stark County based charitable organization. As an employee meets or exceeds the goal, Beese Fulmer will make a contribution to the Beese Fulmer Charity Fund.
The goal of the charity fund is for a portion of the annual contributions to be donated to charitable organizations within the community. The remainder of the annual contributions will grow for a period of years and help fund a future community project. All employees will have a voice in which organizations receive funds.
“We worked hard as a team to craft a community involvement plan that will allow us to best serve the local area. Beese Fulmer has called Stark County home since its founding 32 years ago. Stark County has been a wonderful place to call home, and we are striving to make it better by implementing this policy. Thanks to the support of local community leaders in crafting this policy, we are confident that we can continue to enrich our home,” said Dennis Fulmer, Founder and President of Beese Fulmer Private Wealth Management.
“I don’t know of another small firm instituting a plan like this. It is a great idea for the community,” said Mark Samolczyk, President of the Stark Community Foundation.
“Beese Fulmer’s enrichment of our community through the promotion of community service by all of their staff is a perfect example of choosing to make a difference. Thank you for your 32-year commitment to our community,” said Ken Weber, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc.
