About US

Chairman Dennis co-founded the firm along with William Beese in 1980. Prior to creating the company, both served as Trust Investment Officers for Harter Bank. Dennis serves as Chief Investment Officer, which involves investment selection for the model portfolio and setting asset-allocation parameters. Dennis earned a BA in Economics from Denison University in 1975 and an MBA from Kent State University in 1979. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which he earned in 1983. Dennis also serves on the boards of community organizations and participates in fundraising activities for them.

Ryan T. Fulmer is President of Beese Fulmer Private Wealth Management.  He serves as a portfolio manager and a member of the firm’s investment committee with responsibility for making investment recommendations in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. 

A significant portion of Ryan’s time is spent focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families counseling them on complex wealth issues.  Every client’s investment portfolio is customized for their own unique circumstances (lifestyle spending, tax and estate circumstances, and risk tolerance) and built with individual fixed-income and equity securities to maximize the associated benefits of complex tax and estate planning techniques implemented by their professionals.

Extensive experience working with individuals and families who are looking to maintain their lifestyle in retirement.  Ryan works with clients to holistically analyze their asset allocation, total wealth, spending, gifting, and other cash flows to ensure that their portfolio has the best probability of achieving their goals.

Wide-ranging experience counseling families with generational wealth through the complexity of creating next-generation stewards, while maintaining the elder’s lifestyle in a tax-efficient manner.  Expertise in constructing portfolios that maximize the related benefits of intricate tax and estate planning techniques (which may include: revocable and irrevocable trusts, generations skipping trusts (GSTs), Intentionally Defective Grantors Trusts (IDGT’s), family limited partnerships etc.).

Comprehensive experience working with clients and their professionals (accountants, valuation experts, merger and acquisition counsel, and investment bankers) to estimate how deal structures will affect lifestyle spending and generational wealth goals after the completion of a business’s sale or stair-stepped exit to private equity.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked at Goldman Sachs in New York City providing investment research on regional banks to mutual funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He also worked at as an analyst at FSI Group a long-short hedge fund that specialized in investing in the financial sector.

Nicholas joined Beese Fulmer in 2010 and currently serves as Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Analyst. Nick is also a Partner and the Chief Compliance Officer at Beese Fulmer.   Nick specializes in working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients by building customized portfolios for each unique investor’s needs. Nick collaborates with other members of the firm along with outside accountants and attorneys to maximize the sale of client’s privately-held businesses and efficiently pass down generational wealth. 

Every client at Beese Fulmer has unique needs and that is why we take the time to build customized portfolios for each of our clients. Part of developing a new client portfolio is educating and working with the client to make sure they understand what we do and why we do it. Understanding how behavioral finance affects a client's decision-making is of particular interest to Nick. Bridging the gap between the human brain’s programming to make irrational financial decisions, and being a rational investor, has become a crucial topic of conversation between Nick and his clients. 

Nick resides in Hudson with his wife Jillian, and two children – Lido and Vera. When not at work or helping the Deville School of Business, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and trying new restaurants and recipes with friends and family. 

Experience

Prior to joining Beese Fulmer, Nick spent five years in institutional investment management at North Fork Bank in New York. While at North Fork Bank he was an analyst and member of the investment committee. Nick worked with a wide range of clients including pensions, trusts, union accounts, and high-net-worth individuals.

Patrick joined Beese Fulmer in 2024 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Patrick oversees the day-to-day operation of the firm and works with the team to improve processes and efficiency.

Patrick resides in Uniontown with his wife Kari, and two children – Anna Grace and Charlotte. When not at work or helping in the community, he enjoys working in the yard, golf, sporting clays, chatting with other car folks at a cars and coffee event, and spending time with friends and family.

Experience

Prior to joining Beese Fulmer, Patrick spent almost twenty-two years in a variety of operational and management roles at The Karcher Group (TKG), last as their Chief Operating Officer. Prior to TKG, Patrick also spent time at Oak Associates and the former Dairy Mart Convenience Stores Corporate Offices in I.T. Management roles.

Robert currently serves as Portfolio Manager and Analyst.  He is a member of the firm’s investment committee and holds the responsibility for making investment recommendations in the healthcare sector.

Bob spends his time collaborating with individuals, families, and institutions to provide customized solutions for each client’s specific needs; with special consideration for tax and estate circumstances, risk tolerance, and spending needs.  Each portfolio consists of individual stocks and bonds that incorporate the ideas of the investment committee.

Bob also supports the expansion and development of the institutional segment of Beese Fulmer; working with an array of institutions and their respective consultants to communicate our investment process and philosophy.

Bob lives in Richfield, Ohio with his wife Lindsay and two children – Coleman and Blake.  In his free time, he enjoys exploring the metro parks with his family, playing golf, and competing in triathlons.

Experience

Prior to joining Beese Fulmer, Bob spent nearly a decade on a top-rated international equity team.  The team was acquired by Federated Hermes from PNC Capital Advisors in 2019 and worked out of the Cleveland offices of both firms.  While at Federated Hermes, Bob was a Senior Investment Analyst supporting three mutual funds with global equity exposures.  Bob frequently traveled throughout Europe, meeting with senior management to better understand the long-term implications of current decision-making and perform due diligence.  In addition, he attended conferences with forums from central bank leaders, geopolitical experts, and senior company management.

Bob worked with product management and sales to understand the needs of institutional clients.  He supported the development of new product launches which required working with experts in fund accounting, legal, product, sales, and executives to bring new mutual funds to market.   Assets under management for his team grew from $400 million in 2013 to $1.7 billion in 2021, due to new products, improved marketing tools, and a strong understanding of client needs.

Scott currently serves as Portfolio Manager and Analyst. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee and holds the responsibility for making investment recommendations in the consumer discretionary and staples sectors. 

Scott works closely with individuals and families to develop personalized investment strategies. These strategies are tailored to each client's unique needs, carefully considering their tax and estate situations, risk tolerance, and spending requirements. Each portfolio consists of individual stocks and bonds that meet the quality investment standards of the firm’s investment committee. 

Scott also leads the expansion and development of the institutional segment of Beese Fulmer; working with institutions and their respective representatives to communicate our investment process and philosophy. In addition to investment research, he spends his time collaborating with institutions, families, and individuals to provide customized solutions for each client’s specific needs.

Scott lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio with his wife Meredith. He has two college age kids – Lily and Jack. In his free time, he enjoys attending local sporting events, playing golf, and spending time with his family in Florida and Canada.

Experience:

Prior to joining Beese Fulmer, Scott spent over 15 years on a top-rated international growth equity team. The team was acquired by Federated Hermes from PNC Capital Advisors in 2019 and he worked out of the Cleveland offices for both firms. He was very instrumental in coordinating the smooth transition of PNC funds to Federated Hermes. While at Federated Hermes, Scott was a Senior Investment Analyst supporting three international focused mutual funds and a separate portfolio of US listed ADR’s. Scott frequently traveled throughout Europe, Canada, the Middle East and Australia, meeting with senior management to better understand the long-term implications of their business plans and market due diligence.  He worked closely with product management and sales to understand the needs of institutional clients. He spent over seven years handling the trading functions of those three funds. This required focused attention to understanding liquidity and exchange frameworks to provide efficient and effective execution in both the equity foreign exchange markets across the globe.

Scott spent six years working for KeyBank Capital Markets as a NASDAQ trader. While there he learned a great deal about trade execution and proprietary trading for the company. There he delivered steadfast processes with efficient and profitable execution for very large institutional order flow. 

He began his career working on the exchange floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. He worked his way up from running orders in the trading pits, to becoming a market maker and proprietary trader in the Federal Funds and Treasury Note Futures trading markets.

Kelsey joined Beese Fulmer in 2025 and serves as the Investment Operations Analyst. In this role, she oversees the firm's technology initiatives and data operations to ensure high data quality standards are maintained.

When she's not at work, Kelsey, a Medina resident, enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Brad, and their daughter, Peyton. Her hobbies include home remodeling, hiking with her dogs, and gardening.

Experience

Before joining Beese Fulmer, Kelsey accumulated 14 years of diverse experience at Valmark Financial Group. Her roles during her tenure included being an intern with the Financial Planning team, Compliance Specialist, Investment Operations Data Analyst, Business Analyst II, and Developer. This experience demonstrates her adaptability, strength in using technology to optimize processes, and commitment to learning all aspects of the business.

Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron with a B.S.B.A. in Marketing.  She has worked in business and finance for close to fifteen years, and has been with Beese Fulmer for nearly seven.  Her banking career started in college while she worked as a bank teller, and later progressed to loans and trust administration.  At Beese Fulmer, Jennifer manages and administers many back-office functions.   Her responsibilities include:  payroll, bookkeeping, H/R related duties including benefits administration, and legal and accounting team coordination.   Jennifer enjoys walking, hiking, and visiting U.S. National Parks.  Likewise, she loves spending time with her family, dog and watching OSU football. 

Kellie joins Beese Fulmer as part of the MacNealy Hoover Investment Management team with 27 years of experience in client services.  She enjoys spending time with her family along with reading, camping and watching baseball and football. 

Stacie serves as a Client Service Administrator, joining the firm in early 2020.  Prior to Beese Fulmer, Stacie worked at an information technology company for 14 years.  Stacie currently works on special projects.  

Diana has been with the company for over twenty-two years and works with all new accounts, transfers, distributions, manages fees, and helps service clients. She enjoys being with her family and participating in her daughter's school activities.

Krissy joined Beese Fulmer in June 2023. She attended Kent State University. She has a background as an Executive Assistant and Event Coordinator. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, attending concerts and going to the beach.
